Cuttle Cottage Lavender recently opened at the Henkel family farm. Owners Tracy and Arnie Henkel have done an extensive renovation of the barn to create a retail store carrying lavender bath and body products, jams jellies and herb mixtures, garden accents and planters. Cuttle Cottage Lavender is open Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., located at 295 Vernonville Road in Alnwick/Haldimand township. The Henkel Family farm is the site of the Shelter valley Folk Festival.
