New Unique Gardening Gift Shop
A Living Landscape is a new business on the Lakefield Highway. Owner Debra Hiley has created a unique gardening gift shop to compliment her indoor/outdoor landscape design business. Debra does design, lighting, construction and planting, training, seminars and workshops. A Living Landscape is affiliated with THL Systems Inc, owned by Heiko Liebathal, they do radiant heating systems, and Jim Legon of The Terra Group, who does equipment sales and service and property maintenance - a one stop shop, they're all located at 3066 Lakefield Road next to Horlings. New Thrift Shop Store
Also up the Lakefield Highway The Lakefield Animal Welfare Society has a new Thrift Shop located right next door to the shelter. The Thrift Shop contains good quality clothing and household goods and the profits go right next door to feed and house the animals. They always welcome donations - essentially anything you'd put in your yard sale would be welcome. They are also looking for volunteers to work some of the hours, which are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am - 4 pm.

Balanced Books is a new bookkeeping business owned by Diane Maybee. Diane, who has 20 years of bookkeeping experience, covers Peterborough and Northumberland Counties and will work at your business or pick up your papers and drop them off stamped, posted and filed in order, along with monthly or quarterly reports.
