Peterborough Musicfest has announced its concert line-up for the summer of 2015. The 29th season of the festival is dominated by Canadian musicians including Randy Bachman, Chad Brownlee, Hannah Georgas, The Northern Pikes, and Sass Jordan, as well as local artists Melissa Payne and Rick Fines.

The free Peterborough Musicfest concerts take place twice a week from late June to early August at Del Crary Park

The first show of the eight-week season is Canadian rock icon Randy Bachman (The Guess Who, Bachman Turner Overdrive) on Saturday, June 27th. See the complete schedule of performers.

All concerts take place on the Fred Anderson Stage at Del Crary Park, beside Little Lake in downtown Peterborough, every Wednesday and Saturday until August 22nd.

Concerts begin at 8 p.m. and, as always, the concerts are free.

Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets (lawn chairs are available to rent at the main entrance to the park for $4 per chair). VIP seating near the stage is available to sponsors and friends of the festival. Smoking and alcohol is not permitted in Del Crary Park and pets are not allowed during the concerts.

One of the premier tourist attractions of the area, the annual music festival attracts around 125,000 attendees each year and injects around $4.8 million into the local economy.

The festival is funded completely through corporate sponsorship, government support at all levels including the City and County of Peterborough, fundraising initiatives, and private donations.
